🍑Southern Peach Cobbler🍑
use a loaf-size baking dish
1/4 cup pecans, roasted & chopped
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 Tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup milk
6 peaches, peeled & sliced
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 ea vanilla bean
1 tsp. minced ginger
Heat oven to 375 degrees.
Put the butter in your baking dish and melt in the oven. While butter melts, roast pecans.
Place cut peaches, brown sugar, vanilla beans and ginger in a pot and simmer to melt the sugar, soften the peaches, and release the juices.
Combine flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt; mix to combine, then stir in milk. Stir in chopped pecans.
Pour the batter into the pan with the melted butter, then pour the peach mixture on top. DO NOT MIX!
Place your pan in the heated oven and allow to bake until golden brown, about 30 minutes. Once batter is cooked through and golden brown, remove from the oven and allow to cool. Enjoy!
